Hours: 40 hours

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 p/a dependant on experience

What we’re looking for from you:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Marketing Director to join our multi award-winning agency headquartered in the heart of Birmingham, UK. As a senior team member, you will have a strong background in marketing and be responsible for all marketing activity both for our agency as well as our marketing clients.

You’ll be part of the friendly and growing team here at 5874, who strive for perfection, delivering results that exceed expectations. You will be able to effectively manage multiple marketing clients and projects at once, achieving shared goals, leading and motivating your team through an organised and efficient management style.

This is an office-based role with the possibility for flexible working. This position will involve travel to meet and spend time with our global clients.

Job Responsibilities

Working directly with the CEO to develop and lead both the agency and clients strategies.
Create leading marketing strategies that achieve operational and analytical excellence across all campaigns and marketing channels.
Provide in-depth marketing insight and knowledge to improve campaign performance and be up to date with evolving tools and platforms.
Develop strong working relationships with our marketing clients, gaining a true understanding of their business needs and KPIs.
Conduct market research to keep our agency and clients ahead of trends and competitors marketing movement.
Continually monitor and assess how/why we are hitting targets and KPIs across all marketing channels and drive actions of improvement where required.
Lead on content strategy and content output across all of our channels.
Ensure our brand purpose and values are reflected at all touchpoints, e.g. throughout campaigns, digital, print collateral and events.
Lead and mentor the agency’s marketing team to provide ongoing coaching and feedback for optimal performance and development.

Essential Skills

Previous experience within a digital agency environment, but we are also looking for a hard working attitude and a friendly approach!
Exceptional marketing knowledge with a results driven data lead approach.
Extensive experience in strategising and executing omnichannel marketing campaigns.
Great with people - including skills required to build and maintain excellent relationships.
Experience in leading teams.
Confidence and persuasiveness, for 'selling' your ideas to clients.
Able to manage and lead a team with confidence, managing resources and providing direction.
Knowledge of Google Analytics, dotdigital, HubSpot, Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Facebook Ads.
Ability to adapt to and lead in a fast-paced, high-growth, agency environment.
Previous experience working in the eCommerce industry.

Bonus Skills

Exposure to software, including Jira, Confluence, Slack and other similar project management support tools.
Previous experience using BigCommerce.
