PPC & SEO Account Executive

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 p/a

What we’re looking for from you:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven PPC & SEO Account Executive to join our multi award-winning agency headquartered in the heart of Birmingham, UK.

As a PPC & SEO Account Executive at 5874 Commerce, you will be working on the digital marketing strategy for both our agency and our diverse range of eCommerce clients. This will involve campaign creation, monitoring, optimisation and analysis across multiple channels including Google, Bing, Facebook and LinkedIn.

You’ll be part of the friendly and growing team here at 5874, who strive for perfection, delivering results that exceed expectations. This role will sit under a Marketing Manager and whilst previous SEO & PPC knowledge is preferred, we’ll train you so passion and a hunger to learn is more important here!

This is an office-based role with the possibility for flexible working. This position may involve travel to meet and spend time with our global clients.



Job Responsibilities

Work closely with your manager to build, monitor and optimise effective SEO & PPC campaigns for both our agency and eCommerce clients.
Create engaging content and campaigns that build awareness and generate leads.
Stay on top of latest marketing insight and trends to improve campaign performance, for example Google algorithm updates.
Utilise tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush and Screaming Frog for digital insight and optimisation.
Carry out key technical tasks, such as site audits and keyword research.
Write SEO-optimised content such as blogs, webpages and metadata.
Produce in-depth weekly and monthly reports which analyse campaign performance and recommend next steps.

Essential Skills

Passion for digital marketing and delivering strong performance.
Ideally have previous experience within a digital agency environment, but we are also looking for a hard working attitude and a friendly approach!
A positive, can-do attitude.
Strong communication skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Good attention to detail.
Good numerical and analytical skills, with working knowledge of Excel.
Confident in presenting campaign results and progress to internal teams, and to clients if required.
Existing knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics).
Existing knowledge of Google, Bing, Facebook and LinkedIn ads.

Bonus Skills

Exposure to software, including Jira, Confluence, Slack and other similar project management support tools.
Previous experience working in the eCommerce industry.
Certified in Google, Bing, LinkedIn & Facebook Ads.
