What we’re looking for from you:

We’re looking for a Technical Commerce Analyst to join our multi award-winning agency headquartered in Birmingham, UK. We seek a natural problem-solver; someone who often throws away the manual and builds something entirely new and better than the original.

Working with our eCommerce clients, you will be heavily involved in developing the project roadmap, ensuring all objectives and deliverables are met using best practice. You will also be responsible for the effective migration of data, content and products, as well as maintaining onsite performance, usability and SEO during replatforming projects.

This is an office-based role with the possibility for flexible working. This position will involve travel to meet and spend time with our global clients.

Job Responsibilities

Managing the scope of eCommerce projects and timescales, working collaboratively with clients and third party vendors to align technical solutions with business goals
Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to map out current architecture and understand the client’s business requirements and potential challenges
Interpret and analyse data using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Glew.io to report on client site performance and where improvements can be made
Work alongside the sales team to create RFP responses and new business proposals
Communicate timescales and deliverables to solutions and developer team
Manage and maintain relationships with third party vendors
Communicate and guide the client on data migration from one site to another
Liaising with the sales and project management team throughout to ensure delivery and goals are being met
Managing expectation on what is technically feasible and finding solutions to outstanding and new problems

Essential Skills

Experience of migrating an online store from one platform to another
Passionate about all things digital and commerce
Awareness of the following technologies: CSS, HTML, JQuery, Angular, React, GIT and WordPress
Can develop complex integrations across various platforms, supporting them throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
Strong understanding of SEO and using analytics tools to report back to client
Can juggle multiple projects while working independently and/or as part of a larger team
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Skills

Experience working with BigCommerce
Knowledge of multiple eCommerce platforms
Project management experience
