What made you apply for a job with 5874?

I had been working as a freelance Graphic Designer over lockdown and wanted to take on an apprenticeship to hone my skills. I knew a career at 58 would be a great opportunity to learn about design and the Commerce industry.

What's your favourite thing about working here?

My favourite thing about working here is the team, there's a great deal of expertise in our team and I have already learnt a lot from being here.

In your role, what do you most enjoy and what area do you feel you excel in?

Within my role I most enjoy building a brand up from the bottom up to create something interesting across multiple channels.

What would you say is your favourite project you've worked on?

My favourite project I have worked on so far is Johnnie Walker. I enjoyed working with such a big brand and seeing the site come to life.

Where do you see yourself career-wise in 5 years?

In 5 years I see myself being a more knowledgeable Designer with some more experience at 58 under my belt. I also hope to take more of a lead role on some client-facing work as my skills as a Designer progress.

Who or what inspires you?

I find Birmingham very inspiring, there's a really good culture here and the city has a lot to offer in terms of art, music and of course food.

Got any pets?

I have an 11 old Kings Charles/Bichon Frise cross who still looks like a puppy, she's very cute but won't give you any peace if you're eating something.

Tell us a little bit about yourself / family / hobbies

Outside of work I'm a big music fan and like to spend my weekends listening to music and going to gigs, I also play bass guitar in a band. When I'm not designing or doing something musical you can catch me at Villa Park.

Celebrate small victories.
