5874 Commerce replatformed Wearth onto the BigCommerce openSaaS eCommerce platform. This new infrastructure and store implementation will allow Wearth to scale and provide greater feature capability for customers and suppliers, resolving issues with the current platform. In order to build out the lifestyle brand and content marketing, 5874 integrated the BigCommerce store with WordPress, which was put into a subdirectory using the 5874 varnish cache platform.
Products are delivered into Wearth via a marketplace platform called Jetti, which did end up proposing a challenge when integrating with BigCommerce. It took a while to iron out, but after hard work and dedication from 5874 and Wearth, we were able to deliver a working solution.
A key part of Wearth London’s website is being able to search by value (eg. plastic free) as these values are associated with the product offering, which is why an integration with SearchSpring was the perfect fit. Other integrations include Klaviyo, Fast and Klarna, while Smile.io allows reviews to be displayed in a way similar to the Etsy marketplace.
This blend of partner integrations offers a cutting edge solution for Wearth and allows them to compete in a highly saturated market.
