The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our fast-growing team here at 5874 Commerce. You will be working in the heart of Birmingham at an eCommerce agency across a huge range of projects.

This position will work closely with a friendly and experienced team of Project and Account Managers, and will be part of large-scale eCommerce projects, seeing these through from initial brief to point of completion. You will need to have a strong analytical mindset, fantastic organisation and communication skills as well as great attention to detail.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years’ of experience managing eCommerce projects, with a proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects on time and simultaneously.

This position may involve travel to meet and spend time with our global clients.

Responsibilities

Managing several projects simultaneously with the support of project managers.

Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget

Pitching project ideas, developing creative and technical briefs for the design and development teams.

Scope and manage projects to mitigate risks and manage client expectations.

Communicate the project goals effectively with clients as well as internal teams.

Keep track of project schedules, assess and resolve any risks or delays ahead of time.

Quality assess all work produced.

Essential Skills

Ability to analyse, plan, document and prioritise requirements.

Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and change direction when required.

Comfortable using a range of software and tools for project management

Previously worked with a wider team and are comfortable seeking guidance and input from senior members during projects when required.

Strong attention to detail, extremely organised and excellent communication skills.

Desire to learn new skills and develop your career.

Bonus Skills

Previous experience in a digital agency or similar fast-paced environment

Experience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously

Understanding of eCommerce platforms, content management systems and the technical specifications that accompany them

Previous experience using Jira

Experience and knowledge of the BigCommerce platform
