A Year of Success for 5874

2017 is coming to an end, and this year has been full of big changes at 5874 HQ. To round off the year, we want to celebrate all the wonderful things our team has achieved in the past 12 months and what’s in store for 5874 in 2018 as we move on to even bigger and better things!

5874 Has Grown!

This year, we’ve taken on some pretty big projects, so to ensure we’re giving our clients our full attention and the best results possible, the 5874 team has doubled in size! This also means we have had to expand on our space by moving offices. We’re now based at The Bond Company – stop by for a coffee sometime and take in our new contemporary space in Birmingham’s creative quarter!

Yumi Replatform in 3 Months!

One of our biggest jobs of the year was moving the fashion brand Yumi from Demandware to BigCommerce in 3 months. It was a huge task, but the 58 team successfully delivered it on time.

Black Friday & Cyber 5 Success

This year, we had more eCommerce clients than ever! With Black Friday getting bigger every year, it meant discounts galore, daily theme changes and a more intense marketing strategy. The fun didn’t stop there either, as lots of our eCommerce clients decided to expand their offers to the whole Thanksgiving weekend. It was a complete success and we were blown away by how well our clients did. We’re ready to take on the madness again next year!

Seriously Silly Socks Win Big!

We love it when our clients succeed, and this year, the wonderful Seriously Silly Socks won the Innovation Awards Grand Prize at BigCommerce for their innovative Build-a-Box tool. It was truly well deserved, and Andrew at Seriously Silly Socks even had these kind words to say about our very own Rupert Cross:

Won Pitch For Aviva Investors

We are delighted to be working with Aviva Investors on several schemes in West London, including Uxbridge Industrial Park. Another successful property project on the way!

Exhibitions Galore

This year we really stepped up our exhibition game, attending the likes of MIPIM UK, Spring and Autumn Fair and Linnworks Academy. It’s great to be meeting potential clients and see the current and developing trends in the industry. We look forward to meeting even more of you next year.

Let’s Feed Brum’s Turned 1!

In October of this year, Let’s Feed Brum turned one. 5874 are one of the founders of the homeless organisation that aims to help those living on the streets in our city – we can’t believe how far it has come in the last 12 months! From daily food walkabouts, to raising £10K at a fundraising event, Let’s Feed Brum is growing constantly, and we couldn’t be prouder of the number of people the organisation continues to help.

Preferred BigCommerce Status

5874 have been Certified BigCommerce Partners for some time, but this year we took it to the next level and became Preferred BigCommerce Partners too. More than that, we’re now also on our way to becoming the first agency outside of the US to reach Elite status. Well done, team!

BigCommerce Toolkit

5874 has built a BigCommerce internal toolkit to schedule themes for time deployment/activation. It’s in the process of being extended so that clients will have a full, traditional staging environment to merchandise (products, themes and categories) before being able to push live at a point in time. We believe we are the first people to do this, and we can’t wait to be able to offer our clients an even more efficient way to merchandise.

5874 Celebrated 5 Years!

A big year all around as 5874 turned 5! We have grown so much in the last 5 years – we started as 2 brothers, now we’re a team of 11 and we keep growing – here’s to many more years delivering success by design!

A New 5874?

The new year will bring a whole new 5874 as we rebrand and redesign our website. Our upcoming challenges are exciting as we strive to provide our clients with the best creative solutions and innovative designs, while still remaining one of Birmingham’s leading creative agencies. Next year will be even bigger and better for 5874 – watch this space!
