A Little More.
What made you apply for a job with 5874?
I’d known Rupert and Richard, and a few other members of the team for a very long time - talking 10 years or so. Professionally our paths had crossed various times and I knew that when the right opportunity came up at the right time, I would grab it. I just knew it was the right fit for me.
What's your favourite thing about working here?
I’m in total awe of the talent that works here - in all roles, particularly in the marketing team (I’m not being biased). I love that I’m part of a leadership team who really care and who share my values while also challenging me to be better every day.
In your role, what do you most enjoy and what area do you feel you excel in?
I love coming up with an idea and being able to tell myself yes - let’s do it! I have a small team (at the moment) of incredibly talented and creative people - when we get to share ideas and have our voices heard, that’s what I really love. What do I excel in? Difficult to answer for someone who struggles with good ol’ imposter syndrome but I would love to be good at mentoring and building people up, especially women and even more especially, mothers.
What would you say is your favourite project you've worked on?
I’m pretty new to Agency life and the only project I’ve had hands on experience in so far is the 58 Rebranded project. Honestly it was enlightening - I cannot tell you the skill that has gone into it. I’m in total awe and I’m so proud of the team working together to make it happen.
Who or what inspires you?
Women who recognise the importance of building other women up. When they reach the top of the ladder they keep it steady for those coming up after them - those women are my champions.
Got any pets?
I am cat butler to three felines; a tortoise shell named Maisie (incredibly spoilt and whom my husband clearly favours over me), a neurotic white and grey cat named Junior who my husband saved from a cat home after being horribly mistreated (he’s pretty happy now though!) and a tabby named Logan who actually belongs to our neighbour but adopted us about 7 years ago. I love them but I hate them - other cat owners will get it. Also, do my kids count as pets??
