After starting out as an apprentice, Alex has spent the last nine years working in web development. Throughout his career, Alex went from low level SQL coding to leading various front-end projects. Having worked on a variety of platforms and frameworks such as Magento and Symfony, Alex has a wide range of experience and expertise. He also has experience with a number of languages ranging from PHP to React and is always looking to widen his coding knowledge.

What made you apply for a job at 58?
A new challenge was needed, 58 offered me a role where I could expand on what I already know as well as learn new things.
Where do you see yourself career-wise in 5 years time?
I would like to transition into a more senior role and maybe lead a team one day.
Tell us a bit about your pets (if you have any)
I have a pet boxer, her name is Rilee and she loves to go mental when I walk through the door.
Tell us a bit about yourself/family/hobbies
I enjoy playing golf on the weekends. I support Liverpool FC, so I also very much enjoy watching football and playing it whenever I can. As well as being the usual techy who loves playing video games.
What's the best advice you've heard or been given?
Find something you love to do and you'll never work a day in your life.
